Dr. Michael Turner to Direct Healthy Aging Research Academy (HARA)

The College of Health and Human Services is proud to announce that Dr. Michael Turner, Associate Professor of Kinesiology, will be taking on the role as Director of the Healthy Aging Research Academy (HARA). Dr. Turner is not only a natural fit for this position because his research focuses on the intersection of cardiovascular functioning, physical activity and aging, but also because of his commitment to faculty research development and mentoring. With Dr. Turner’s leadership and support from Dr. Julian Montoro Rodriguez (CHHS Director of Gerontology), HARA will development into a strong research organization within CHHS, the University and the community.
